Affiliate Disclosure

How partyideas.holiday makes money, in plain language, and the editorial rules we follow so our recommendations stay yours to trust.

Last updated: May 2026. This Affiliate Disclosure applies to all content published on partyideas.holiday and to our social media accounts. Read it alongside our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Terms and Conditions.

About the publisher

The Site is owned and operated by Polaris Nexus LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, USA. Registered address: 1621 Central Ave, Cheyenne, WY 82001. Contact: info@polarisnexuslcc.com.

How we make money

PartyIdeas.Holiday earns revenue in two ways:

  • Our own shop. We sell a curated selection of party products directly through the Site. You pay us, and the order is fulfilled by our supplier. The terms of those sales are governed by our Terms and Conditions, Refund and Returns Policy, and Shipping Policy.
  • Affiliate links. For products we don’t sell directly, our articles often link out to third‑party retailers (Amazon and others). Some of those links are affiliate links: if you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission, at no extra cost to you. You pay the same price you would otherwise, and the retailer shares a little of their margin with us for the referral.

This page explains how the affiliate part works, where you’ll see it on the Site, and the editorial rules we follow so commissions never decide what we recommend.

What is an affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a regular link with a tracking parameter added by the retailer. When you click one, the retailer’s site can tell that you came from us, and if you then buy something within a set window (typically 24 hours to 30 days, depending on the program), we receive a small commission on that order. Affiliate cookies are described in our Cookie Policy.

Once you click an affiliate link you’re on the retailer’s own site, and their checkout, shipping, returns, customer service, and privacy practices apply to that purchase, not ours. We don’t process those orders, see your payment details, or hold any of that data.

Where affiliate links appear

Affiliate links may appear in:

  • Articles and gift guides, especially product round‑ups (for example, “best decorations for a winter wonderland party”).
  • “Buy on Amazon” or “View at retailer” buttons next to recommended products.
  • Side‑bar widgets and recommended products.
  • Emails sent through our newsletter.
  • Posts we publish on social media accounts associated with the Site, when relevant.

We add an in‑article disclosure to any post that contains affiliate links, and we use clear language like “Buy on [retailer]” on the buttons themselves. On social media, we use plain‑language tags (such as #ad, #affiliate, or “affiliate link”) in line with current FTC guidance.

Affiliate programs we participate in

PartyIdeas.Holiday is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases.

We may also participate in other affiliate programs, such as those operated by retailers, brands, and affiliate networks (for example, ShareASale, CJ Affiliate, Impact, Rakuten, Awin, or similar). When we do, the same editorial rules described below apply, and we’ll add programs to this list if and when they become a regular source of links.

Editorial independence

This is the part that matters most.

Whether a product has an affiliate link, which retailer it’s linked to, or how much it pays, never decides whether we recommend it or how we describe it. We recommend products we genuinely think are useful for the kind of party the article is about. If we wouldn’t suggest it to a friend planning the same celebration, it doesn’t go on the Site.

To keep that line clean:

  • Our content team chooses products before commercial considerations are added. Affiliate links are inserted afterward, on products that have already been selected on their merits.
  • If two products are similar in quality, we may choose the one that’s easier for readers to buy reliably; we don’t choose based on commission rate.
  • We don’t accept payment in exchange for a positive review or for inclusion in a round‑up.
  • If we ever publish sponsored content or work with a brand in a paid arrangement, we’ll clearly label it as such (“Sponsored,” “Paid partnership with [Brand],” or similar) on the post itself.
  • If we receive a product for free for review, we’ll say so in the article. Receiving a sample doesn’t guarantee a positive write‑up.

How we select what to recommend

For product recommendations, we look at things like: how well a product fits the type of party we’re writing about, the average rating across credible reviews, return‑rate signals where we can find them, value for money in its category, and how reliably it’s in stock from major retailers. We try to include a range of price points where it makes sense, so there’s usually an option at a different budget tier. When we get something wrong, we update or remove the recommendation.

Prices, stock, and product details

Any prices, ratings, or availability we mention are set entirely by the retailer and can change at any time. Always check the current price, shipping information, and product details on the retailer’s page before you buy. We’re not responsible for the products themselves or for the experience on third‑party sites; complaints, returns, and refunds for purchases made on those sites go through the retailer.

For products sold directly through our shop, our own policies apply: see Refund and Returns and Shipping.

Brand names and trademarks

Brand names, product names, and trademarks mentioned on the Site belong to their respective owners and are used for identification and editorial purposes only. Their mention here does not imply endorsement of PartyIdeas.Holiday by those owners.

FTC compliance

This disclosure is provided in line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on endorsements and material connections, including the FTC’s Endorsement Guides as updated in 2023 (16 CFR Part 255) and the agency’s online disclosure guidance (“Disclosures 101 for Social Media Influencers“). The “material connection” between PartyIdeas.Holiday and the retailers we link to is that we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through our links. We disclose this connection on this page and on each article and channel where affiliate links appear.

Changes to this disclosure

We may update this Affiliate Disclosure from time to time, for example if we join new affiliate programs or change our editorial process. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes will be flagged more visibly on the Site.
