A site everyone can use

Accessibility Statement

Our commitment to making partyideas.holiday usable for everyone, what we do today, what we still have to improve, and how to reach us when something doesn’t work for you.

Last updated: May 2026. This Accessibility Statement applies to partyideas.holiday (the “Site”) and the online shop operated under the same domain. It explains the accessibility standard we work toward, the steps we have taken, the limitations we are aware of, and how to report a problem or request information in an alternative format.

About the publisher

The Site is owned and operated by Polaris Nexus LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Wyoming, USA. Registered address: 1621 Central Ave, Cheyenne, WY 82001. Contact: info@polarisnexuslcc.com.

Accessibility is part of how we build the site

We believe everyone planning a holiday party should be able to use partyideas.holiday, including people who use screen readers, magnification, keyboard‑only navigation, voice control, or other assistive technologies. We are committed to making the Site progressively more accessible, treating accessibility as a continuous process rather than a one‑time project, and addressing reported issues promptly.

The standard we work toward

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the international standard published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.2 incorporates the earlier WCAG 2.1 Level AA, which is the level commonly referenced in connection with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and U.S. state accessibility laws. We use WCAG 2.2 AA because it includes the most current success criteria covering keyboard navigation, focus management, target sizes, and authentication, among others.

Conformance status

The Site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet every applicable success criterion. We are aware of this, we work to close the gaps over time, and we describe both the measures we already take and the limitations we know about below. We do not currently claim full WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance because we have not completed an independent third‑party audit; until that audit is done, an honest “partially conformant” statement protects both you and us.

Measures we take

To improve and maintain accessibility, we already work along these lines:

  • Semantic HTML. We build pages using meaningful headings, landmarks, lists, tables, and form labels so assistive technologies can understand the structure.
  • Keyboard navigation. All key features (menus, forms, links, the shopping cart, checkout) can be operated with a keyboard alone, in a logical order, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Text alternatives. Meaningful images include descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
  • Color and contrast. We design with color contrast ratios that aim to meet the WCAG AA threshold (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and meaningful UI elements). We don’t rely on color alone to convey information.
  • Forms and errors. Form fields are labeled, required fields are indicated, and error messages describe what’s wrong and how to fix it.
  • Responsive, zoomable design. Content reflows on small screens and remains usable when zoomed up to 400%.
  • Captions and transcripts. If we publish video or audio content, we provide captions or a written transcript where available.
  • Editorial review. Our editorial team checks new articles for headings, alt text, and link wording (no “click here”) before publishing.
  • Tooling. We use automated tools (such as WAVE, Lighthouse, and axe) to catch common issues during development.

Known limitations

We’re honest about where we still have work to do. Areas we know are not yet fully conformant:

  • Older articles. Some articles published before our current editorial guidelines may have incomplete alt text or inconsistent heading structure. We update them as we revise the article.
  • Third‑party embeds. Some embedded content from external services (for example, video players or social embeds) is built and styled by the third party. Their accessibility is outside our direct control; where possible, we choose providers who care about it.
  • Decorative imagery generated for thumbnails. Where decorative images appear, we mark them as decorative for assistive tech; we are gradually replacing AI‑generated imagery with original photography that allows for more meaningful descriptions.
  • PDFs and other documents. Any downloadable PDFs may not yet meet PDF/UA standards. If you need a document in an accessible format (Word, plain text, or HTML), contact us and we will provide it within a reasonable timeframe.

If you encounter something not listed here, please tell us. Your reports are the fastest path to improvement.

Compatibility with assistive technology

We design the Site to work with recent versions of the most common browsers and assistive technologies, including:

  • Browsers: the current and previous major versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge, on desktop and mobile.
  • Screen readers: NVDA and JAWS on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, and TalkBack on Android.
  • Speech recognition: Dragon NaturallySpeaking on Windows and Voice Control on macOS / iOS.
  • Operating‑system zoom, browser zoom up to 400%, and OS‑level high‑contrast and dark‑mode settings.

The Site is not designed for outdated browsers (such as Internet Explorer) or for screen readers no longer supported by their manufacturer. If you use an older setup and run into problems, please contact us so we can help.

Technical specifications

The accessibility of the Site relies on the combined use of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and WAI‑ARIA, interpreted by your browser and any assistive technology you use. If any of these technologies is not supported or is disabled, parts of the Site may not work as intended.

Assessment approach

The accessibility of the Site has been evaluated through internal self‑assessment by the Polaris Nexus editorial and development team, supported by automated testing tools (WAVE, Lighthouse, axe) and manual keyboard and screen‑reader checks of key user journeys: browsing articles, browsing the shop, adding to the cart, account creation, and checkout. We plan to commission an independent third‑party accessibility audit once the shop has been in production for one full season, and to update this statement with the results.

Feedback and how to reach us

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of partyideas.holiday. If you find a barrier, can’t access content, or want information in an alternative format (large print, plain text, HTML, or Word), please contact us:

  • Email: info@polarisnexuslcc.com, subject “Accessibility request” or “Accessibility feedback.”
  • Phone: +1 (307) 205-6061.
  • Mail: Polaris Nexus LLC, 1621 Central Ave, Cheyenne, WY 82001, USA.
  • Or use our contact page.

To help us respond quickly, please include the page URL where the issue occurred, a description of the problem, the device, operating system, browser, and any assistive technology you were using, and your preferred way for us to reach you.

Response commitment. We aim to acknowledge accessibility messages within three (3) business days and to resolve or provide a plan within fifteen (15) business days, depending on the complexity of the issue. If we need more time, we will tell you why and when to expect an update.

Formal complaints

If we are unable to resolve your accessibility concern, you may have additional options under federal or state law. In the United States, accessibility of websites operated by private businesses is governed primarily by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). You may contact the U.S. Department of Justice for information about the ADA, or the attorney general’s office in your state. We mention these only as information; we hope to resolve any issue directly with you first.

Review and updates

We review this Accessibility Statement at least once a year and any time we make significant changes to the Site, redesign a key page, or complete an audit. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent review.
